Exports and imports increased by 9.7% and 6%, respectively...

According to the provisional data, produced with the cooperation of the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Ministry of Customs and Trade, in November 2016; exports were 12 billion 817 million dollars with a 9.7%  increase and imports were 16 billion 931 million dollars  with a 6%  increase  compared with November 2015.

Foreign trade deficit decreased by 4.1%...

In November 2016 foreign trade deficit was 4 billion 113 million dollars with a 4.1% decrease compared with November 2015.

In November 2016, exports coverage imports was 75.7% while it was 73.1% in November 2015.

Seasonally and calendar adjusted exports  decreased by 0.9%...

Seasonally and calendar adjusted exports decreased by 0.9% and imports decreased by 4.6%, compared with previous month. Calendar adjusted exports increased by 6.7%, imports increased by 2.4% compared with November 2015.

Exports to the European Union increased by 6.6%...

As compared with the same month of the previous year, exports to the EU-28  increased by 6.6% from 5 billion 609 million dollars to 5 billion 982 million dollars. The proportion of the EU countries was 46.7% in November 2016 while it was 48% in November 2015.

The main partner for exports was Germany...

In November 2016, the main partner country for exports was Germany with 1 billion 239 million dollars.  The country was followed by the United Kingdom (874 million dollars), UAE (833 million dollars) and Iraq (796 million dollars).

The top country for imports was China...

In November 2016, the top country for Turkey's imports was China (2 billion 1 million dollars). The country was followed by Germany (1 billion 822 million dollars), Russia (1 billion 294 million dollars) and Italy (878 million dollars).

Ratio of exports of high-tech products in manufacturing industries was 3.7%...

Foreign trade by technology intensity covers the manufacturing industries' products in classification of  ISIC Rev.3. According to the ISIC Rev.3, the ratio of manufacturing industries products in total exports was 92.1% in November. The ratio of high-technology products in manufacturing industries was 3.7%. The ratio of medium-high-technology products in manufacturing industries' products was 33.9%.

Ratio of imports of high-tech products in manufacturing industries was 16.8%...

The ratio of manufacturing industries' products in total imports was 82.9%. The ratio of high-technology products in  manufacturing industries' products was 16.8% in November 2016. The ratio of medium-high-technology products in manufacturing industries' products was 46.5%.
